Job purpose
The Stager ensures all inventory is correctly reported and consumed in system. They are also responsible for ensuring code date accuracy and a variety of documents.
Duties and Responsibilities
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Stage 7 series inputs to MO’s with scanning gun.
- Return 7 series inputs.
- Report and track staging and returning errors.
- Consolidate inventories, staging quantities compared to cases produced.
- Complete changeovers including changing MO’s, having cases returned correctly.
- Complete traceability report, update date code and ensure it is accurate.
- Complete WIP tag.
- Complete production packaging record when required.
- Ensure proper packaging is used when required.
- Change code date when required via WIP tag/traceability report.
- Submit consumption reports to shift supervisor.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
- Require working “Independently” as well as in a “Team” environment.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience working in a product packaging environment preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player, have good organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision, and possess a safety-first approach to work.
- Detail oriented
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including overtime and have dependable attendance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working conditions
- Work indoors.
- May be exposed to hot temperatures from ovens.
- May work close to others, usually within a few feet.
- Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.
Physical requirements
- Standing involved.
- May repeat the same movement.
- Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.
- Ability to bend or twist their body.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
